our vision

The Create Change Studio began as a passion project for founder, Paige McInnes, and has evolved into a bootstrapped, purpose-driven business offering stressed parents an ‘unplugged’ solution for entertaining kids on-the-go.

As a mum-of-two with a frequent-flying family, Paige is always on the lookout for playthings that are screen-free, transportable, creative and educational. However, much of what she finds is either messy, single-use junk or too difficult to pack in prams or suitcases. So, she set about creating her own range of simple yet innovative play kits.

The Create Change Studio’s self-contained play products are designed to spark children’s imagination, curiosity and creativity while giving parents a chance to relax on their family adventures. Picture a stress-free flight, a calm cup of coffee at the cafe, an enjoyable restaurant meal or a quiet ride in the car…all guilt-free!

Each of our portable play kits is thoughtfully-designed for ease-of-use and our reusable range invokes a minimalist ‘less is more’ approach, saving you time and money. Imagine having all your child’s playthings contained to a bookshelf…It’s possible! Our compact and consistent product casing delivers effortless storage – ideal for small-space living and reducing toy clutter – and painless pack-up in times of emergency.

Caring for our planet also plays a significant role in the creation of each product. All play kits are reusable, minimise waste and use eco-friendly materials wherever possible. With that said, we may be an ethical brand but our colourful range of playthings ensures we are never dull! Our eye-catching packaging is gender-neutral and sustains children’s interest with vivid and whimsical artwork to capture imagination and cultivate curiosity about the world around us.

Although The Create Change Studio offers solutions for entertaining kids on-the-go, we’re a brand with goodwill at its core – hence the name. Worldwide, there are more than 150 million children aged 3-5 who do not have access to any form of pre-primary education, many of whom suffer a form of disability. Children with disabilities are one of the most marginalized and excluded groups in society with many having very little access to books or playthings. The Create Change Studio strives to not only bridge that gap, but to also bring a touch of joy to the lives of disadvantaged children worldwide. Through donations of our all-abilities products, dispatched by our partners in the field, The Create Change Studio hopes to give all children an opportunity to reach their full potential.
